DUTIES

The Branch Leader is responsible for assisting customers with questions and proactively offers solutions to their banking needs including deposits and other account transactions, opening deposit accounts and processing retail loan applications. They may also submit small business loan applications (market specific). Other responsibilities include overseeing the daily work of the branch staff including coaching, scheduling, performance evaluations and operational compliance. Proactively call customers to generate additional service opportunities.

The Business Development Officer is responsible for managing a small business loan portfolio including sourcing new loans, managing renewals of existing loans, and making referrals to other lines of business (insurance, commercial services, etc). They will meet production goals in new small business loans or enhanced customer relationships.  Other responsibilities include properly structuring the small business loans, gather necessary loan documentation, and enter loan applications into Baker Hill.  Refer commercial, retail and/or mortgage loan opportunities to the appropriate team members and assist with gaining the client relationship


QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent
Seven years of bank experience with experience in making retail loans
Two years of leadership/management experience within a bank branch
Proven record of outstanding customer service
Strong understanding of math principles such as debits and credits
Demonstrated proficiency using banking platforms and common office software and systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time
